Speaking on Despair and Hope

Business people will gather to reflect on their efforts in holistic mission and the future of business and mission. I hope to focus on the younger generation’s  sense of despair over the state of the environment and the economy.  I would like to remind them of the Hope in Christ, the restorer of souls, the restorer of Creation, the King, the Messiah. On this Hope we can stand and it is in this Hope that will answer the despair their generational peers need to hear. I will draw on my 47 years of working in the environment and economy in Kingdom business sharing on personal examples where I have seen Jesus work there. Taking what God has already given in their hands (their talents, training and experience) combined with what God has already provided in his creation (all the resources they need) they can provide solutions for spiritual, material and environmental flourishing (in short, BAM), working hand in hand with the Restorer of All, Jesus.
